Call for a Consistent Stance Toward the Iranian Government

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to you with great concern regarding the ongoing and severe human rights violations in Iran.

Numerous international reports and eyewitness accounts document that the Iranian government uses extreme violence against its own population. Protesters are killed, arbitrarily detained, tortured, executed, or forcibly disappeared. This repression targets people who peacefully demand their fundamental rights to freedom, dignity, and security.

In light of this, I urge you to adopt a clear and consistent position:

–Politically boycott the Iranian government.

–Do not recognize representatives of the Islamic Republic of Iran as legitimate representatives of the Iranian people.

–Deny official delegations and representatives of this regime political access and international platforms.

–Refrain from any engagement that creates an appearance of normality or legitimacy.

–Conduct thorough reviews, ensure transparency, and freeze assets held by individuals and networks directly or indirectly linked to the Islamic Republic of Iran who use foreign economic structures to circumvent sanctions.

–Investigate real estate acquisitions, corporate holdings, and business investments in Europe where there is reason to suspect involvement in money laundering or in stabilizing a repressive regime.

–Ensure that European financial and economic centers are not misused to evade sanctions or to finance state repression.

Instead, I urge you to:

– listen to the voices of the Iranian people,

– place human rights clearly and publicly above political or economic interests,

– support international measures to hold perpetrators of violence accountable.

Neutrality toward a regime that systematically uses violence against its own population amounts to complicity in oppression. The people of Iran need clear political consequences, not symbolic gestures.

I respectfully urge you to stand with the people – not with a repressive system.

Best regards
